直接作用於結腸黏膜的刺激性瀉藥，能促進大腸蠕動。於睡前服用，隔天早上順暢排便的效果可期的便秘藥。
主要成分Bisacodyl能刺激大腸黏膜，激活腸道蠕動，同時也能刺激排便反射，促進排便。
跟中草藥（大黃、番瀉葉）相比效果更強更快。
適用於有習慣性便秘的人。
容易發生在便秘、壓力或疲勞而使腸道運動減弱的人身上。建議與維生素B1一起服用以加強腸道蠕動。
